SHOCHU LABEL DESIGN

This label design was created during my time as a Graphic Designer for GrandTen Distilling in Boston, MA. This product needed a label that diverted from the aesthetic of GrandTen’s other spirits, as this is their first Shochu to date. It originates in Japan, and features a grassy, citrus profile. This label takes inspiration from sumi-e, traditional Japanese ink painting, along with the regularly occurring color palette of red, black, and white. Japanese artwork is often inspired by landscape, which I incorporated by tying in the grassy plains that the flavor notes derive from.

Created using Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
